Twitter Will Add Accessibility Support For Its Voice Tweets Feature
A couple of days ago, Twitter announced that they would be rolling out a new characteristic in the form of audio tweets. Similar to how people send voice messages, sound tweets would basically let people tape their voice and upload information technology every bit a tweet, giving users more ways to limited themselves that the written discussion might not.
However, it seems that one of the features that Twitter might take forgotten about is accessibility, where they are working nether the assumption that all their users have no hearing impairments. As pointed out past ane of their users, the lack of closed captions means that those who are difficult on hearing might accept issues trying to listen to these sound tweets.
The good news is that Twitter has since acknowledged the lack of accessibility and has stated that they are exploring means to make such tweets more accessible to more users in the hereafter. The company too notes that because this is an early on version, not all features are available yet, just that could change in the future.
